RNTC is a centre of excellence in the field of media, development and education.
We design and implement projects that support the development of the media sector and the effective use of media for development. We do this in the developing world and in countries in transition.

Local voices in Indonesia
Most professional broadcast training programmes in Indonesia are organised in the capital, Jakarta. To travel all the way to Jakarta is too expensive for most programme makers and also the trainings do not fulfill their needs. That's why the School for Broadcast Media (Jakarta) and RNTC started the project 'Local Voices'.

Surinam twinning project
Three local radio stations in Surinam and three Dutch local stations are ‘twinned’. The twinning will help the stations in Surinam to become participative platforms for communication, where information is exchanged in two directions, bottom up as well as top down.
